Scarification with Dannel

Day 29/365: "Scarification with Dannel"

I've always been intrigued by the limits of the body and mind and body modifications are no different. Whether it's getting your ears pierced or inking your whole back and sleeves, I want to learn more about it. Due to shooting weddings I'm unable to reach these levels of curiousity with my own body so I can live vicariously through other people.

In comes Dannel! I've known Dannel for a few years now and she's one of the strongest people I've ever known. She's lost a lot but remained strong through it all when most people couldn't have been. I sat in on her scarification session today so I could find out more about this form of body modification. Thanks again Dannel!

Downtown PDX

Haven't updated this in a long time but hopefully I can get back in to the swing of things. I've changed my lenses around and will be focusing on portrait work with hoped to take it to a more professional level down the line. Here's a nice change of pace though. I'm doing a project 365 which is a photo a day for a year and started on new years day. I decided to take a trip over to the waterfront to get some shots of the city before the clouds and rain moved in. Hope you like them and if you're interested in buying a print, you can contact me at goddardca@yahoo.com Enjoy!!

Jeff Hill's Show and Go STI Rd, 2

Met up with Jeff Hill a few weeks ago to get some more shots of his STI with the new front and rear Voltex setup. This is such an amazing car to see in person and had a blast canyon carving around Camas in it. I hope to shoot this again down the line.

Pumpkin Patch with the Roach Family

My first time to a pumpkin patch and I got to spend that time with the Roach's. I shot Hailey shortly after she was born a few months ago and it's amazing to see how much she's already grown and changed. We met up with Chanelle and her little guy.

Tommi and Lars

I've known Tommi and Lars for quite a few years now and had the pleasure of doing a post wedding shoot with them last week. I try to warn people ahead of time to be very picky when choosing a photographer for a special event. Think of them like a doctor or lawyer. They only get one shot and they better do it right. Here's a few from their session.

E-Session: Jessica and Nate

I met up with Jessica and Nate for their E-session last weekend. Brittney and I will be shooting their wedding at the beach next year and I'm really looking forward to it. Onto the pics!

Derrick and Kristina's wedding

Wow what an exhausting but exciting day. It was the most humid day in 6 years but at least we missed the rain! Everyone did an awesome job and props go out to the other photographer, Brittney, for directing most of the time. Congrats again guys!
